“Man In The Moon”
Brassneck’s acclaimed black comedy about life’s challenges by Pearse Elliott coming to
Naomh Éanna CLG (St Enda’s GAC) Saturday 2nd November 2013
St Enda’s GAC are to stage the acclaimed Man In The Moon for one night only on
Saturday 2nd November. A new bitter sweet comedy from well-known screen writer, playwright and director Pearse Elliott, the show is a Brassneck Theatre Production and has received rave reviews from the Belfast Telegraph, Irish News and Irish Theatre Magazine to name but a few.
Man In The Moon is a one-man show and stars young comedy actor Ciaran Nolan in his most highly noted role to date. The comedy dream team have worked together in the past on Elliott’s hit movie Man About Dog and TV show Pulling Moves. Now they are back and audiences are in for a treat as this darkly comedic rollercoaster of a production will put Nolan’s acting abilities to the ultimate test.
A story of survival, Man In The Moon centres on Sean Doran who is facing a number of challenges in his life. The play is set at the Half Moon Lake, a natural lagoon in the middle of Lenadoon Housing Estate in west Belfast, which although beautiful is known as a place of tragedy.
