Do you Knit?
Múinteoir Sinéad (rang 1) is collecting knitted jumpers or booties for newborn babies – many suffering from Aids- are being called fish and chip babies because they are sent home from hospital wrapped in newspaper fro warmth. In order to assist these tiny babies we are asking you to knit a small jumper which will be sent to Africa to keep tiny children warm. Special Instructions – only use double knitting- no baby pink, blue, white or pastel colours as these garments may never be washed. Bright and mixed colours are best or a mixture of stripes.
